Server Administrator

12 Month Contract to start ASAP. Our client is seeking an experienced Server Administrator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company’s server infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.Minimum requirements:MatricRelevant IT qualification or certification (Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent)3 + Years experience in server administration and IT infrastructureExperience with Azure cloud environments will be an advantageStrong knowledge of Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)Experience with virtualization, networking, and backup technologiesStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skillsKey Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux serversManage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group PolicyMonitor and enhance system performance, capacity, and uptimeImplement and enforce IT security policies and access controlsManage firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessmentsConfigure and monitor backup systems (Acronis) and disaster recovery plansSupport LAN/WAN environments, VPNs, and secure remote access
