This management position will manage the operational resources and vehicles, infrastructure by planning, supervising and controlling effective day-to-day pick-up, delivery and shipment processing. Ensure that local service and cost performance targets are achieved and, in partnership with Sales management, agree and meet customer performance expectations.YOUR TASKSParticipate in design and ensure implementation of Couriers, Pick-up & Delivery operations plans and processes to provide effective pick-up/ delivery and transportation of mail/ parcelPlan and deliver annual work plan for parcel shopManage service point operations to enable collection and handing out of mail/ parcelManage scheduling traffic volumes for transportation and delivery, and selection of appropriate transportationUse structured approach to manage operational procedures including sorting, loading/ unloading activities, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, bagging, sending shipment status information, secure handling and storing of mail, etc.Encourage established reporting standards to achieve visibility on pick-up/ delivery performance to substantiate decisionsMonitor trends and changes to assess efficiency of current means of transportation, analyze and define requirements for operations and improvements in pick-up/ delivery processesDesign and develop new solutions for transportation and delivery, and develop processes, systems, technologies and methods for courier operationsMonitor issues and opportunities, and ensure better practices for courier operations focusing on increasing effectiveness, efficiency and cost controlMonitors and maintains optimum staffing and ensures other resources are available to maintain service and cost performance standards.YOUR PROFILEExcellent operational process knowledgeLogistics experience is an advantageAbility to manage and undertake complex workloadsStrong influencing and negotiating skillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent knowledge of computer applicationsGood planning and organizational skillsAbility to communicate in English and in Hungarian (is a must)B category driving licenceOUR OFFERStrong career support in an international environment.Great culture and colleagues.Multiple benefit programs (annual bonus, cafeteria, meal ticket)Life and accident insuranceCompany car
