About this role… The Service Delivery Manager - Bills Processing is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of supplier invoices, reimbursements, and payments. The role ensures all bills are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements, while supporting clients and suppliers through timely and transparent financial transactions.The position provides operational leadership, drives process improvements, ensures financial integrity, and leads the bills processing team to achieve high levels of accuracy and timeliness. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Operational LeadershipManage day-to-day operations of the bills processing function, including invoice validation, approvals, and payments.Oversee the integration of supplier invoices into finance and client management systems.Ensure timely and accurate processing of reimbursements and supplier payments.Develop, review, and implement bills processing workflows, policies, and procedures.Drive continuous improvement and automation of billing and payment processes.Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure all invoices are reviewed against program rules, funding guidelines, and organisational policies before approval.Monitor compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.Lead internal audits and quality checks of invoice processing and reimbursements.Address discrepancies, exceptions, and disputed invoices promptly.People ManagementLead, coach, and support the bills processing team to achieve accuracy and performance targets.Provide training and guidance on finance policies, compliance, and system use.Manage performance reviews, workforce planning, and team development.Foster a collaborative and accountable culture focused on service excellence.Financial & Resource ManagementMonitor budgets and funding utilisation to ensure entitlements and obligations are accurately reflected.Provide regular reporting on billing activity, processing times, and financial outcomes.Ensure suppliers are paid within agreed terms and clients' funds are safeguarded.Work with finance teams to resolve exceptions, accruals, and outstanding liabilities.Stakeholder EngagementLiaise with suppliers, consumers, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues.Build strong relationships with care managers, finance staff, and auditors.Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding billing and reimbursement processes.Represent the bills processing function in management and compliance forums.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Bachelor's degree holderMinimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, accounts payable, or billing functions.Strong knowledge of financial compliance requirements and controls.Proven ability to lead teams in a high-volume processing environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience with financial/accounting systems and CRM/portal-based invoice processing.Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or Management.
