Are you fresh out of college or university and ready to kickstart your career in IT? Or maybe you've been working in customer service and want to pivot into a new specialism? If you're passionate about IT and eager to learn, then we'd love to hear from you.We're looking for a Service Desk Administrator to join our IT team and take on the in-office tasks that keep our systems running smoothly. You'll be assembling PCs, troubleshooting hardware, deploying patches, and supporting new joiners, all while learning the ropes of modern IT service delivery.At Our Future Health, our mission is to transform the prevention, detection and treatment of conditions such as dementia, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and stroke.  We're looking for people to join us on our journey. If you're looking for a new challenge where you can contribute to helping future generations live in good health for longer, then we're keen to speak with you.What You'll Be DoingSupporting daily IT operations to ensure devices and systems run smoothlyPreparing laptops and accounts for new starters and helping them onboard with easeProviding first-line support for issues with M365, Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and hardwareMaintaining accurate records in Intune, Jamf, and our ITSM platformAssisting with updates and patching to keep devices secure and compliantCollaborating with the wider IT team to improve processes and enhance user experienceWhat You Won't Be DoingWorking in a siloed environment with no freedom to make decisions. Working in a place where you can't see the impact your expertise makes. RequirementsTo succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOSFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)Interest in device management tools like Intune, Autopilot, or JamfUnderstanding of account setup, password resets, and basic troubleshootingAwareness of IT security and data handling principlesQualifications & Experience:No formal IT experience required, just a genuine interest in technologyGCSEs/A-Levels or equivalent; IT-related study or certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple) are a bonusCustomer service experience is a plusA curious mindset and willingness to learn new tools and systemsWho you are:A clear communicator who can explain technology in plain languageA logical problem solver who enjoys fixing thingsA team player who collaborates well across departmentsCalm under pressure and adaptable to changeDetail-oriented and thorough in record-keepingEnthusiastic about growing your IT skillsThis is a hands-on, office-based role to start with, perfect for someone looking to build a strong foundation in IT support.
