Join us.The OpportunityThis position provides hands-on technical support, addressing all problems ensuring delivery of consistent, quality customer service across the organization.You Are Great AtDeploying and recovering of desktops and laptops and ordering of IT equipment and peripheralsPreparing equipment for shipping and receiving and cataloging returned equipmentOwning and managing problems and issues from start to finishMaintain accurate counts and record of on hand equipmentManaging tasks and resources relating to projects and service support ticketsDelivering clear and concise support documentation, identifying areas of inefficiency and recommending changesCritical Thinking: Identifying risk and problems and recommending solutions into complex situationsCreativity: Providing ideas and suggestions clearly and conciselyBuilding Relationships: Building networks with people in your and other business areas and work together to deliver resultsRegularly reporting the ongoing status of projects and activities as assignedEffectively communicating, managing, and escalating of issuesProcessing of user account creation / modifications & terminations for various systemsProviding the highest level of customer support for executives with limited timeWhat It TakesCustomer service orientation and interpersonal skillsEnglish communication skills, both written and verbalStrong independent problem solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work individually as well as contribute to a global team environmentProficient with both MAC and all Windows operating system software and hardwareAdvanced troubleshooting for all types of technical service requests and issues involving computers, network, all smartphones / tablets, AV systems, enterprise applications / systemsOrganized with an ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environmentCapable of handling a challenging, real-time environment with strong and quick troubleshooting capabilitiesOccasional travel to other officesOpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
