Service Engineer

Job OverviewThis role is responsible to carry out service jobs and technical inquiry, remotely and/or at customer's site and also accountable to manage the end-to-end process from failure identification and root cause analysis on technical complaint.Job Responsibility1. Responsible for carrying out service jobs and technical inquiry depending onqualification (remotely and/or on-site)Troubleshooting of Festo products in customer applicationSystem installation and/or coordination of system installationCommissioning of systems with Festo productsInspection of Festo products in customer applicationMaintenance of Festo products in customer applicationEnergy saving servicesProduct repairsProgramming services of Festo PLCOptimization/modernization of systemsCustomer-specific workshopsAnd other services in service catalogue2. Documentation and reporting of service activities3. Respond to customers’ technical inquiries and ensured adherence to the agreed target setting4. Supports Sales Engineer, including site visit, in defining the right price and conditions for a service5. Transferring of expert knowledge to internal and external Festo thru training, application note, demo product or other method6. Performing any ad-hoc tasks been assigned by Line Manager from time to time7. Failure identification, root cause analysis, identification of suitablemeasures, fault clearance, implementation of improvement measures ofFesto products8. Development, maintenance and execution of test and simulation (aftersales) in the Festo Experience Center9. To observe any potential of process, change opportunity10. Case escalation to PSS if problem solving is not possibleWhat you need to have to be successful in this roleBachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or ElectricalDiploma can be considered along with solid work experienceCustomer service oriented3-4 years of Industrial Automation experienceGood interpersonal and communication skillsGood spoken and written in EnglishExperience in Control system, PLC programming (Festo, Siemens, Omron, Allan Bradley, and/or Beckhoff), sensors, motor controller, servo motor, and/or remote IO, andKnowledge in Compressed air preparation, energy saving, pneumatic actuators, control valves, and/or process valves
