Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Manager, Field ServiceYour Role And ResponsibilitiesAs a Service Engineer, Site Supervisor at ABB Oy, Marine & Ports division in Turku or Helsinki, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance activities for ABB Azipod® electric propulsion units. You will execute service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality and satisfying customer service.The position involves approximately 150 days of mostly international travel, as you will be providing on-site assistance at customer sites. While being in Finland you need to visit occasionally in our Turku office. We offer you an excellent opportunity to contribute to developing the ABB marine business and to develop into an expert in our products and systems.Your responsibilities:Performing and supervising mechanical service tasks for ABB Azipod® propulsion unitsMechanical supervision and execution of maintenance activities, installation, testing and commissioning of the systems in cooperation with the customerConsulting with and advising customers on optimal service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines and maintaining strong relationships with customers, appreciating their needs, and providing specialist assistance and solutionsIdentifying opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methodsQualifications For The RoleYou look for solutions and collaborate effectively with others as well as on your own.
