Our Group IT department plays a vital role in enabling this mission, ensuring that our engineers worldwide have the tools and applications they need to succeed by delivering value to the business through professional IT support. You will join an experienced team of 16 colleagues working from Denmark, Norway, and Lithuania. You will work out of our new Vilnius office. You will report to the Head of Discipline for Engineering Software located in Denmark. With more than 8,000 employees across offices worldwide, you will collaborate daily with colleagues, users, and vendors across borders.The Engineering Software section is responsible for procuring, managing, and supporting COWI's global portfolio of technical software, including BIM, CAD and GIS software, including products from Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble, and ESRI. These business-critical applications enable high productivity across the company, representing millions of work hours annually and carry significant business and management focus.We are now looking for an IT Service Manager to join our team and manage a portfolio of engineering applications. Your roleAs Service Manager, you will oversee engineering application services and ensure they deliver value to the business.In this role, you will:Lead and support a team of Application Management specialists, each managing their own applicationsManage service finances, including budgeting, cost distribution, and ongoing financial follow-up. Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements. Manage and deliver both smaller tasks as well as larger projects within your services. Ensure stability, security, and continuous improvement of applications in your portfolio. Collaborate closely with users, vendors, and colleagues across borders.  What we’re looking forWe are seeking someone who is:Experienced in budgeting and financial management with a background in financial controlling or similar. Proactive and methodical, demonstrating accountability in managing tasks and services. A skilled communicator, able to engage with vendors, users, and leadership. Structured and analytical, skilled at managing performance, costs, and service delivery. Project-oriented, with at least basic project management skills; prior experience in project management or service delivery is an advantage.
