Headquartered in Kongsberg, Norway, the company has manufacturing, sales, and service facilities in 35 countries.The KM Türkiye Propulsion & Handling (P&H) Department is part of Kongsberg Maritime's Global Customer Support (GCS) operation in EMEA, providing support to vessel owners in and around Türkiye. P&H EMEA has strategically located offices throughout the region to serve local markets.We are seeking a Service Manager to lead the P&H product support team in Türkiye. This role oversees all field service activities within the country, manages project delivery, optimizes resource use, and drives customer satisfaction through proactive leadership and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesLead and organize the daily operations of the field service team, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and follow-up of all service activitiesEstablish and monitor relevant KPIs for field service performance, driving continuous improvement to meet or exceed targetsAlign field service objectives and activities with overall business strategies and customer requirementsDevelop and implement resource plans, including workforce scheduling, training, and development, to ensure the right skills and capacity are availableCoordination and resource allocation towards service projectsManage administrative processes related to field service, such as service documentation and warranty handling of service jobsMaintain and improve tools, routines, and procedures to support efficient information flow and operational effectivenessFoster a culture of safety, quality, and customer focus within the field service team Personnel management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and professional developmentExperience And QualificationsStrong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skillsFluent written and spoken English languageExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse teamCustomer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality serviceFamiliarity with commonly used computer systems as Axapta, BAAN, CRM, Zegeba and other service management tools is an advantageStrong analytical and organizational capabilitiesKnowledge of the P&H products is an advantageYou Are Able ToAct on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the resultsIdentify commercial opportunities and you have a strong positive impact on business growth and profitabilityMake an impact, convince and persuade others and promote plans and ideas successfullyBuild a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilizes it to achieve set goalsCommunicate in a clear, precise and structured wayDemonstrate a high customer focus and motivation for new challengesDemonstrate awareness and knowledge of the key competitors in the marketTravel to meet customersLiving KONGSBERG values and implementing this in daily operationMentor and serve as a role model for the departmentThe position will be reporting to the VP P&H EMEA.At Kongsberg, we believe in tackling challenging problems and delivering extreme performance for extreme conditions.
