Job Description

Key Outputs Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability (includes management of HR value chain) ▪ Performance management of team Competency development of team Staffing and safety of team and environment Achievement of team financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Effective control of team expenses Effective control of Work-in-Progress Ensure section outputs comply with OEM standards Apply Barloworld-Equipment leadership philosophy Apply Warranty policies and procedures including warranty decisions and Service Warranty investigations. Effective relationship building with external and internal customers Ensure outputs of Service Audits are achieved Reporting of team KPI’s and prospects Ensure effective self-management and performance ownership Maintain all levels of standards and procedures as per ISO 9001: 2015 and contamination control standardsQualification, Experience And Competencies Qualified Artisan or Applicable Engineering Diploma / Degree Minimum 3 years management experience in the customer interface. High level of computer literacy (including relevant SAP exposure). Good knowledge of Earthmoving equipment and relevant industry Good communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills Effective negotiation skills Ability to work independently, under pressure and meeting deadlines Willing to travel as and when required Show initiative by thinking creatively High level of computer literacy (including relevant SAP) Strong technical background from a mechanical engineering perspective Experience in managing warranty process Financials for non-financial managers Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes People management skills and experience Sound business communication skills (Negotiation; Presentation, etc.)
