Job Description

Key Responsibilities:· CMDB Managemento Maintain and enhance the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring accurate and complete configuration item (CI) data.o Monitor discovery jobs, resolve errors, and maintain CI relationships.o Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to improve data quality and support audit and compliance requirements.· Software Asset Management (SAM):o Configure and maintain SAM Pro modules including software models, entitle-ments, and license metrics.o Perform reconciliation between discovered software and purchased licenses to determine Effective License Position (ELP).o Support software normalization, reclamation, and compliance reporting.· Hardware Asset Management (HAM):o Manage the lifecycle of hardware assets from acquisition to disposal.o Ensure HAM data integrity using ServiceNow Discovery and integrations.o Automate processes for asset tracking and ensure compliance with ITAD standards.· Integration & Automation:o Develop and support integrations with systems like SCCM, Coupa, Zip, and oth-er procurement platforms.o Utilize APIs, MID Servers, and web services for seamless data exchange.o Implement workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub.· Reporting & Governance:o Create dashboards and reports to provide insights into asset utilization, com-pliance, and optimization.o Enforce asset management policies and procedures aligned with ITIL and ITSM best practices.o Conduct periodic audits and manage vendor relationships. Required Skills & Qualifications:• 6+ years of experience in ITAM, SAM, HAM, and CMDB administration.• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro modules.• Strong understanding of ITIL-based asset lifecycle management.• Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript), data analytics, and dashboarding.• Experience with integration technologies (SOAP, REST, MID Server).• ServiceNow certifications (SAM Pro, HAM Pro) preferred.
