Creativity, innovation and personal style will be emphasized. Students will build confidence in their ability to communicate effectively in every setting while incorporating equity, diversity, and inclusion considerations. This course is a mandatory requirement for all management students. It includes work-integrated-learning components, and satisfies the WIL requirement of the BBA degree.Course Enrolment (est.)30QualificationsMinimum qualifications:A master’s degree in organizational behaviour/industrial-organizational psychology OR a master’s degree in social/personality psychology with at least 2 courses at the graduate level in organizational psychology. A strong academic record along with previous experience teaching this course or a similar course at the undergraduate level OR experience with activities related to teaching this course (e.g., experience being a teaching assistant, teaching some sessions of the course, experience in course development etc.), OR professional experience in a related field (e.g., communication consultant, management consultant, public relations); previous experience teaching a university-level course, in the field of communications, with consistent, strong course evaluations.Preferred qualifications: In addition to the minimum, a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior or Industrial-Organizational Psychology OR a Ph.D. in Human Resources Management/Social/Personality Psychology with at least 2 courses at the graduate level in organizational behaviour/organizational psychology.
