Production Manager

We're a small but mighty team with big ambitions -- and we're looking for a collaborative and solutions-oriented Production Manager to help keep our production process running smoothlyand support our continued growth. The RoleThe Production Manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating all aspects of the production process -- from initial development through final delivery.

You'll manage daily communications with international vendors, monitor timelines, assist with problem-solving, and help ensure products meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations. This role plays an important part in keeping our production calendar on track and our teams aligned. You'll act as a key liaison between external vendors and internal partners, maintaining our production roadmap and contributing to the successful execution of each product launch. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction ManagementMaintain and manage production calendars and timelinesEnsure timely handoffs between development, production, and logistics teamsTrack key milestones and proactively flag delays or risksCoordinate the ordering, tracking, and delivery of all photoshoot samples, bulk production, and launch-ready productVendor ManagementAct as a day-to-day contact for vendor communications related to bulk timelines, sample deliveries, and quality concernsTrack vendor performance around lead times, quality, and deliveryAssist in solving production issues as they ariseCosting & Financial SupportOwn product costing in partnership with vendors and the VP of ProductionSource competitive factory options and negotiate favorable ratesTrack DDP costs and optimize margins where possibleCollaborate with operations on timely invoice approvals and payment trackingQuality Assurance & Customer ExperiencePartner with customer experience to investigate and resolve product quality issues, incorrect shipments, or fit complaintsLead monthly quality meetings to review customer feedback and implement corrective action plans with vendorsOversee execution of hang tags, polybags, and polymer productionCross-Functional CommunicationAct as a central point of contact for production updates across teams (design, marketing, logistics, operations)Provide consistent updates on sample deliveries, production timelines, and potential roadblocksEnsure production and marketing timelines are aligned, especially around launch dates and photoshoot needsTrack multiple SKUs across concurrent timelines.

Qualifications3-5 years of experience in apparel production (activewear or athleisurepreferred)Experience managing communication with factories and vendorsFamiliarity with full-cycle product development development, sourcing, and garment construction. Knowledg of cost structure, DDP pricing, and invoice tracking. Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and production tracking tools (Asana a plus)Experience working closely with design, technical design, logistics, and customer service teamsStrong organizational and communication skills.
