Sexual Health Educator

RoleWere seeking a full-time Sexual Health Educator based in our Gouverneur office to deliver programming primarily in St. Lawrence County, with occasional sessions in Jefferson County. In this role, youll:Deliver engaging, school-based and community-based sexual health education using evidence-based curricula.Build relationships with teachers and administrators to support comprehensive health programs.Lead community workshops for parents and caregivers on adolescent health topics.Support outreach and marketing initiatives to raise awareness of teen sexual health and well-being.Work with diverse youth populations, including military families and LGBTQ+ youth.Provide information and referrals for reproductive health care and family support services.What Youll TeachTopics include reproductive anatomy, puberty, contraception and pregnancy prevention, healthy relationships, consent, communication skills, HIV/STI prevention, and more.What Were Looking ForKnowledge of sexual health, adolescent development, and community resources.Ability to connect with youth in engaging, judgment-free ways.Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.Education: BA/BS in Public Health, Education, Human Services, or related field or AS with 5 years of relevant experience.Experience In Sexual Health Education Or Youth Work Preferred.Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.What We Offer37,440-39,520 starting salary (commensurate with experience)Health, dental, and vision insurance401K with employer matchHow To Apply (2-Step Process)Complete the online employment application: https://forms.office.com/r/PNhynt1q6XSend your resume and cover letter to employment@ncppc.org* Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
