Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Engineer Trainee to join our growing team at SGS Bateman in Greenstone, South Africa. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the field of electrical engineering.

Assist senior engineers in designing and developing electrical strategy to suit the unique project or client requirementsParticipate in the creation and modification of electrical schematics and drawings using CAD softwareHelp conduct tests and reviewing cable scheduleAssist in the production of discipline specific design according to schedule and budgetCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met efficientlyContribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentationAttend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skillsAssist in implementing safety protocols and quality control measuresQualificationsRequirementsBe a South African citizen (be able to produce a valid South African ID document)Be between the ages of 18-30Must be currently unemployedEducationBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldKnowledge / SkillsBasic knowledge of electrical engineering principles and circuit designFamiliarity with CAD software for creating electrical drawings, will be an added advantageAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work efficiently in a team environmentEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
