DIRECTOR OF ROOMSShangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Rooms to lead our rooms division. This role is responsible for overseeing operations across front office, housekeeping, laundry, reservations and all related areas, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for collating and analysing forecasts, preparing budget reports for the General Manager and Resident Manager, and reviewing key metrics such as occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and overall financial performance.

Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, the director of rooms will develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction. Additionally, they will be responsible for identifying variances, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. Providing critical insights to support management decisions, this role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. Qualifications & Experience Required:

• A university qualification in Hospitality or Management is required. • At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role. • Proficient in both written and spoken English. • Strong leadership skills with excellent interpersonal abilities. • Strategic thinker with a logical and conceptual approach. • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to challenge the status quo while taking pride in being a hotelier.
