Job Description
About this Position As a Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards across the plant. You will conduct daily inspections, monitor environmental conditions, manage hazardous waste, and support SHE documentation and training.What You´ll DoPerforming daily inspections of personnel, equipment, and work areasConducting routine patrol (PPE, safe work permits, safe/unsafe actions & conditions)Supervising hazardous waste handling and issuing disposal plansEnsuring proper housekeeping of waste storage areasManaging SHE documentation and monthly reportingSupporting development of Workplace Risk Assessment (WRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Environmental Aspect & Impact (EASI)Coordinating with departments to develop Emergency Control Plans (ECP)Maintaining SHE records from internal and external sourcesDelivering SHE induction and basic fire safety trainingMachinery Safety Inspection (e.g., generator, production equipments)Promoting SHE procedures through safety talks and toolbox meetings What makes you a good fit Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or Environmental Engineering (preferred)Minimum 2 years of working experience with chemicals or shoes manufacturing industryA general safety specialist certificateGood knowledge of SMK3 PP50 in 2012, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standardsFamiliarity with PROPER and SIMPEL government portalsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood analytical thinking and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively across departments and drive safety culture Some perks of joining Henkel Global wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programsGender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeksEmployee Share Plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching sharesOutpatient medical coverage for employees and eligible dependentsLife, Hospital, Personal Accident Insurance CoverageDPLK (Financial Institution Pension Fund)Annual Physical ExaminationAt Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
