Job Description

"A key role that will help shape the continued success of a leading NHS Foundation Trust"We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated, innovative nurse leader, to join Sheffield Teaching Hospital’s NHS Foundation Trust as an Associate Nurse Director. The post holder will be accountable to the Nurse Director for Haematology and Specialised Cancer Services (HaSC) and Specialised Medicine and Rehabilitation (SMR) Care Groups. On behalf of the Nurse Director, they will be required to provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership and management, representing nursing within the services of the Specialised Medicine and Rehabilitation Care Group.

Attributes should include proven leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate evidence of leading and managing change in a dynamic and challenging environment. Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of working effectively in a complex, multi professional environment within an acute hospital setting and an ability to contribute to performance management objectives, working within set financial controls and resources. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for nursing, service development, and promote best possible evidence based clinical practice.

Applicants must also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead, influence, negotiate to inspire a culture of positive change to deliver the best quality patient care and experience.
