Job DescriptionSheladia Associates is seeking a professional Senior Procurement Consultant to join our team on our ongoing Third Party Monitoring Services project in Juba, South Sudan.
Specific Duties for this position will include but not be limited toReview contracts on to ensure that Goods, Works and Services contracted for by the Project has been supplied on time and in full and that the goods, works and services provided are fit for purpose and in accordance with the contract signedCarryout procurement performance monitoring and measurement using KPIsUndertake specific procurement reviews in response to emerging needs, such as Variation Orders, Time and Cost extension, etcReport any discrepancies they may detect in the execution of the contracts signed with the Project.
Conduct field visits to the location of infrastructure works, or location/storage of goods procured under the Project to report on their implementation status as needed. QualificationsMust have a Masters degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Law, Engineering. Must possess at least ten (10) years of international experience in carrying out public procurement, including procurement of goods, works and consulting services, in particular:
(i) operations with multinationals and international organizations; (ii) managing large civil works, goods and consulting contracts; (iii) experience working on procurement under World Bank projects dealing with works, goods and supervision contracts; (iv) similar projects and environment. Proficient in PC-based applications such as MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, data management and excellent in Web research and navigation tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
