✅About DestecDestec is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated company with a fast-growing client base that provides ore processing and materials handling services to the mining industry across Western Australia.We take pride in innovation through designing, constructing, building, maintaining and operating our own crushing and screening plants for Tier 1 mining sites.✅About The RoleThe Shift Supervisor is a key on-site leader responsible for the day-to-day execution of work, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. The role directly manages crew performance and serves as the primary link between the site workforce and the Superintendent, upholding Destec’s core values of Act with Integrity, Work Together, and Keep Improving. In this role you will be responsible in leading a team of multidisciplined personnel including mechanical fitters, boilermaker, electricians and operators.✅Key Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesUpholding and enforcing a safe work environment on the ground in accordance with Destec policies and all statutory requirements.Directly overseeing daily operations and the use of assigned plant and equipment.Maintaining positive and professional relationships with the crew and sub-contractors on-site.Executing tasks to achieve plant availability and performance targets safely and efficiently.Conducting daily plant inspections and documenting the information into the maintenance system for effective planning and scheduling. Leading and participating in pre-start and toolbox meetings, communicating key information from the Superintendent to the crew. Providing on-the-job coaching and feedback to team members and assisting the Superintendent in developing training plans. Managing the performance of crew members in line with Destec policies, escalating any issues to the Superintendent. Ensuring contractors working with the crew understand and comply with Destec's policies and procedures. Completing and submitting required daily and weekly reports on work progress, safety, and production✅The Important Information: Roster is 2 weeks on, 1 week off (Days & Nights)This is a full-time salaried position, so you are paid the same every pay cycle!
