If so, this might be the role for you! As a member of the Parts Department, you will accurately pick orders from inventory stock, receive and stock product on shelves, package and ship orders, enter/post orders on the business system, complete related paperwork, and pick up and deliver product. This role has potential to grow from this position to a Parts Counter professional.HoursMonday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a 1 hour lunchHours may include a future Saturday rotation, depending on business needsResponsibilitiesReceives products and forwards emergency stock for customers (internal and external) and ensure freight cost is calculated and charged to customer.Picks parts based on customer generated pick ticket. Places completed orders in branch bins or customer direct deliver section of warehouse. Aisles are kept clean.Picks up and delivers parts to external customers.Consolidates orders going to same location and packages for shipping. Loads and unloads couriers and delivery trucks.Completes accurate associated paperwork. For example, computer generated invoices for direct customer delivery or customer pick-up orders; creates packing slips for inter-branch transfers; completes credit card transactions for customers.Upholds the appearance and daily maintenance of the company delivery truck.Qualifications2 years of work experience, preferably in a related roleExperience in a fast paced work environmentCustomer service focusedAttention to detailShows a learner attitude, initiative and diligenceAbility to work independently with little supervisionAbility to lift and carry up to 80 pounds without assistanceBasic computer experience with ability to learn in-house systemForklift license or ability to achieveAbility to be exposed to weather conditions off/on throughout the day, year-roundAbility to climb ladders preferredKnowledge of Heavy-duty trailer parts an assetWe OfferCompetitive hourly wageGroup benefits including health (drug card), dental, & visionEducational assistance planReferral bonusesOpportunities for advancementBoot allowanceFree parkingSupport of a national companyMore About UsWe provide quality transportation equipment, parts, and service to our customers.
