Purpose: Following the goals, objectives, and vision of Ethicon MedTech, primary responsibility is performing one or more of the following hands-on operations: responsible for the proper maintenance of the Manufacturing Line Rhythm through the replenishment of Kanban and the delivery of Material Kits to production operators.You Will Be Responsible ForPer prescribed procedures, performs duties related to warehousing, material transfer, production handling, packing, freight handling, and shipping distribution centers and/or sterilization plants.Use of Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move Finished Good or transfer Warehouse Materials.Support Shipping Logistics such as: Prepare all documents for outgoing shipments. Interface with outside transportation companies and other Ethicon traffic departments. Organize Warehouse spaces/stocks and maintain inventories; Track inventory in appropriate system; Restock materials as and when required. Collect tracking numbers and provide to planning personnel as required. Loads and unloads trailers/trucks; Performs efficient unloading, transporting, storage and delivery of materials and accurate recording of system transactions.Support Receiving Logistics such as: Receive direct issue material (raw material) using the applicable ERP system. Store raw materials in the Warehouse using stocking location systems, FIFO and GMP rules. Assemble batches and record transaction in the system. Release batches to manufacturing area using a Kanban system and record transaction in applicable system. Keep record of all batches released to the manufacturing department using temporary documents.- Document and segregate reject material. - Dispose of the reject material movement in the computer system. Inspect raw materials received in terms of Raw Material Code, quantity, and QA acceptance ticket.Responsible for maintaining Warehouse, Docks and surrounding areas in compliance with housekeeping 6S standards and GMP requirements. Use cleaning equipment as required.Stages and stores finished goods pallets; Pull, package and ship orders in a time-efficient and accurate manner.Qualifications / RequirementsHigh School Diploma is required, Associate Degree highly preferred.Two (2) or more years of experience working within Warehouse or Manufacturing environment is required.Valid driver’s license is required.Commercial Driver’s License (Heavy III) is highly preferred.Availability of working overtime, various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.Training in the use of an electric or manual pallet jack is required.Ability to assemble, disassemble, operate and understand complex equipment or processes per procedures are required.Strong computer skills – SAP System knowledge are required.Ability to travel 10% of the time to other Ethicon Locations, domestic, international, or both is required.Ability to operate efficiently and effectively within multiple software applications (office) is requiredAbility to understand and adhere to cGMP is required.Ability to speak, write and understand procedures and instructions in Spanish and English is required.Ability to lift from 10 to 40 pounds is required.Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
