OverviewThe Shipping & Logistics Clerk is responsible for packaging, scheduling, and routing of pharmacy deliveries, including interdepartmental supplies and correspondence, and maintaining timely, accurate delivery records.This is a full-time position located in Kissimmee, FL (1080 Kevstin Dr.)and the work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9-5pmGreat work-life balance. No evenings or weekends!About The RoleComplete daily packaging, scheduling, and routing of deliveries/drivers in the most efficient manner possibleCommunicate professionally and clearly with drivers and pharmacy staff regarding delivery status updatesEnter delivery information into pharmacy systemsScan delivery receipt forms into database and confirm receipt of packages with physician offices and patientsPrepare FedEx, UPS, and other packages for shipmentEnsure all deliveries are made accurately and on time and that all packages are accounted forInteract courteously with patients and team members to develop and maintain positive, professional relationshipsMaintain a tidy, safe, and organized workspace within the pharmacyProactively identify problems, escalate if/when appropriate, and provide effective solutionsOrders and maintains inventory of shipping materials and suppliesPerform other related duties as assignedPerform in accordance with company policies and standardsEmbrace and perform in the spirit of the company's core values and goals About YouHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience in shipping and packaging (especially medications)Strong customer service attitude and skillsStrong typing, data-entry, and counting skillsProficient in Word, Excel, inventory and order processing systems, and FedEx/UPS shipping platformsHigh attention to detailAble to lift and carry light to medium-weight packagesProficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skillsBilingual in Spanish preferredAble to maintain a high level of confidentialityMust have a positive attitude, be energetic and flexible, have excellent phone etiquette, and provide exceptional customer serviceAt Avita Care Solutions, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do. Join Avita and get inspired tobe the care that unlocks the full potential of health for all.We're committed to promoting health equity by providing comprehensive, integrated access to pharmacy services, clinical care delivery and digital health through our individualized and culturally competent LGBTQ+, HIV, PrEP, and sexual wellness care.
