Job Description: In this role, you will:
Conduct data analysis to support business strategy, performance tracking, and operational improvements across Shopee’s regional teamsBuild dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance metrics, identify trends, and empower data-driven decision makingCollaborate cross-functionally with local and regional stakeholders across product, operations, logistics, and commercial teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and optimise business and logistics operationsTranslate business needs into actionable analytics projects, supporting continuous improvement and digital transformation effortsManage and track project timelines and impact metrics; communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiencesWork closely with on-ground teams to test, validate, and implement operational initiatives that drive tangible business resultsFor experienced analysts:
drive strategic planning, mentor junior team members, manage stakeholder alignment, and own end-to-end project deliveryFinal team placement (Regional Operations, COO Office, or Logistics) will be based on interview performance, skillset alignment, and business needs. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline0–8 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations, strategy, consulting, or related fieldsProficiency in SQL and Python is required for data extraction, transformation, and analysisStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through ambiguityExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present data-driven insights clearly and persuasivelyCurious and proactive mindset, with a strong passion for solving complex business problemsTeam player who thrives in dynamic, collaborative, and cross-functional environmentsExperience with dashboarding tools (e. g.
Tableau, PowerBI, Data Studio) is a plusPrior internship or work experience in analytics, operations, consulting or e-commerce is advantageousFresh graduates (expected graduation in 2025) with strong analytical capabilities are welcome to applyCandidates with 4–8 years of experience will be considered for roles with broader ownership, stakeholder management, and project leadership scopeNote: Final team placement (Regional Operations, COO Office, or Logistics) will be based on interview performance, skillset alignment, and business needs.
