Team Lead - System Modelling

A Snapshot of Your DayJoin our dynamic Nacelle Technology department as the Team Lead for our System Modelling team, where you will guide a dedicated group of 16 structural engineers and designers. You will play a pivotal role in developing and applying a robust system model framework, conducting multi-body analysis, and performing global-level simulation tasks in line with our design practices. Your leadership will not only shape the team’s strategic direction but also cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Envision empowering your team to excel while driving the future of wind power technology!How You’ll Make An ImpactLead the team in strategic planning and resource management to improve operational efficiency. Develop short- and mid-term strategies that align with project goals and team capabilities. Conduct regular 1: 1 meetings to provide coaching and support for individual growth and skill improvement. Collaborate with sister departments and technical project managers to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively. Ensure the continuous development of methods, tools, and processes, while maintaining deadlines and sharing critical information with stakeholders.

What You BringA passion for renewable energy and a commitment to leading transformative change. Validated experience in people management, ideally in a technical environment with highly skilled specialists. Strong technical understanding and the ability to set clear objectives for your team. Excellent communication skills, with an interest in fostering collaboration across diverse cultures and technical areas. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to engage optimally with international teams.

About The TeamYou will lead a highly skilled and diverse team of 14 structural engineers, a designer and a project manager, working at the forefront of simulation and analysis of the wind turbine nacelle. The team’s core mission is to develop and apply advanced modelling tools and methods – including finite element analysis (FEA) and multi-body simulation (MBS) – to support both early-stage design and new product development projects. Our system models are essential to understanding the structural and dynamic behavior of the nacelle and are used across the Nacelle department to ensure high-performing and reliable designs.
