Position: MES Functional ArchitectContract: 3-month initial contract, with potential for permanent hireLocation: Cork, Ireland or Grosswallstadt, Germany (hybrid)Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement MES solutions to support manufacturing operations and digital transformation.Conduct fit-gap analyses and create functional specifications, workflows, and data models.Lead MES deployment projects including configuration, testing, validation, and go-live.Maintain a unified MES code base and ensure global consistency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with GxP and support documentation, audits, and validation.Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and user training.Support MES upgrades, enhancements, and integration with enterprise systems.Key RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.8–10 years of experience designing and implementing MES solutions (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Camstar, or similar).Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, and IIoT technologies.Familiarity with GxP, ITIL, and tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and data integration.Experience working in complex, global organizations.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.If you think you are the right fit, please apply with your CV.
