Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Senior Database Engineer and Data Analyst to join ourdynamic team. Key ResponsibilitiesDatabase Engineering Design, implement, and maintain scalable database structures and architectures Ensure optimal database performance, security, and data integrity across all systems Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions Monitor database systems for performance issues and implement optimization strategies Manage database backups, high availability, and disaster recovery frameworks Participate in database capacity planning and infrastructure scaling decisions Automate database maintenance tasks and processes using industry-standard tools Collaborate with development teams to design efficient data models and schemas Maintain comprehensive documentation of database systems and proceduresData Analysis & Business Intelligence Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources including databases, APIs,and external files Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BItools Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights tostakeholders Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them intotechnical specifications Ensure data quality and accuracy through validation processes and data governancepractices Build and maintain data models that support business intelligence and reporting needs Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making processesReporting Systems Development Design and implement comprehensive reporting frameworks and systems Create automated reporting solutions that deliver timely and accurate business metrics Develop real-time dashboards for operational monitoring and performance tracking Build self-service analytics capabilities for end users Establish data governance standards and best practices for reporting Maintain and enhance existing reporting infrastructure Provide training and support to end users on reporting tools and dashboardsRequirementsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field 3-5 years of experience in database engineering, data analysis, or business intelligence roles Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data projects end-to-end Experience in mid-senior level positions with increasing responsibilities Strong level of English both writing and speakingTechnical SkillsDatabase Technologies Strong expertise in relational database management systems (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) Advanced proficiency in SQL programming, including complex queries, stored procedures, and optimization Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus Knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures Experience with database performance tuning and optimizationBusiness Intelligence & Analytics Tools:
Experience with Power BI (required) or similar BI platforms (Tableau, QlikView, Looker) Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for Power BI development Experience with Power Query for data extraction and transformation Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles Familiarity with self-service analytics and report automationProgramming & Technical Skills Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation Experience with ETL tools and processes (SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or similar) Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices Understanding of API integration and data connectivity solutions Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelingData Management & Governance Strong understanding of data quality management and validation processes Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements Experience with data security and privacy protection measures Familiarity with data lineage and metadata management
