About The RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position, based at the Signet head office in Wakerley.
Onsite presence is a priority, but ad-hoc remote working (from home) will be considered. We are looking for someone who loves to build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders, and who thrives on helping both business and employees grow and develop. This HR Business Partner role will see you lead the implementation of HR programs for Signet, and, over time, support projects and strategies for the broader Spicers Group. This role will have a strong focus on learning and development programs and initiatives, including creation, implementation, delivery and analysis.
You will also provide generalist HR support in relation to performance and conduct management, employee relations, recruitment and selection, engagement, remuneration and benefits and HR metrics, reporting and data analysis, working alongside Signet’s HR Coordinator. This position reports to the Head of HR-Spicers Group and will work closely with the General Manager-Signet and the Signet Executive Leadership team (ELT).
Key Responsibilities Of The Role IncludeCreate and implement individual development plans for SignetCreation, implementation and delivery of L&D programs, to support Signet strategySupport broader business development pathways and programs for Spicers GroupSupport annual appraisal and succession planning activities, using ELMOCollate and analyse appraisal and succession data to determine development needsSupport psychometric/competency profiling, use insights to form development plans Provide employee relations advice and support to managers, including performance improvement plans, warnings and facilitation of internal investigationsSupport ongoing reviews of templates, policies and proceduresSupport end-to-end recruitment (as a back-up to the HR Coordinator)Work with the payroll team to review and check information each pay runSupport national annual salary review processesWork with Finance to understand and work within budgets (e.
g. headcount, training, salary reviews)Support annual engagement surveys and results analysis and communicationCompile and analyse HR data for reporting and insightsSupport planning and delivery of Signet social events (e. g. Social Club, Graduate conferences, site BBQs etc.
)Regular use of several software systems -ELMO, Scout, HR OnboardSkills And ExperienceAt least 3 years’ experience in either a generalist HR role or specialist L&D rolePrior experience in forming and delivering development programs End-to end performance and conduct management experienceStrong interpersonal skills- proactively form positive relationships and rapportCurrent working knowledge of legislation, including the Fair Work Act and AwardsStrong analytical skills- able to work with and analyse numerical and written data (including payroll data)Formal HR qualifications- or equivalent work experienceAs a member of the Signet team, you will be offered a range of benefits including:
