The roleWe're seeking a Head of Product & AI to lead our full product organization and AI product strategy. This is a highly strategic role responsible for setting and executing the company-wide product roadmap β€” with direct accountability for both customer-facing product innovation and AI-driven internal tooling. As Simply. TV transitions from a pure metadata provider to a broader data and analytics platform, this leader will be pivotal in scaling product development, embedding AI across the value chain, and driving commercial and operational impact.

You will report directly to the CEO, work closely with our board, and serve as the strategic link between Engineering, GTM, Operations, and Data. Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & RoadmapDefine and own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap across our product offeringsBuild and maintain a rigorous prioritization process grounded in customer impact, commercial value, and technical feasibilityCollaborate with Commercial, Operations, and Engineering to align roadmap with business objectives and market feedbackPresent roadmap updates and tradeoffs directly to the CEO, Leadership Team, and BoardAI and applied ML leadershipDrive Simply.

TV's AI product strategy, shaping how AI is embedded across both external products and internal operationsDesign and lead initiatives that apply AI and LLMs to elevate our data platform and editorial workflowsIdentify high-impact use cases where AI can enhance customer value or drive operational efficiencyExpand and evolve our AI-powered product features, ensuring they align with customer needs and market trendsEvaluate, test, and integrate cutting-edge AI models, frameworks and toolkitsProduct execution and team leadershipBuild and lead a high-performing Product & AI team β€” hiring PMs, ML product leads, and analysts as neededEstablish product development best practices (OKRs, product specs, feedback loops)Drive clear handoffs with Engineering, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold quality standardsFoster a culture of experimentation, iteration, and customer obsessionRequirements8+ years of experience in Product Management, with 3+ years in AI/ML product leadershipDeep expertise in applied AI/ML, with a track record of building and scaling AI-native productsExperience working with LLMs and generative AI, ideally in areas like content processing, natural language understanding, or searchBackground in or deep familiarity with data-centric companies, with a strong grasp of data pipelines, governance, and qualityProven ability to set product vision, translate into actionable roadmaps, and drive org-wide alignmentExperience applying AI/ML to complex, high-volume data environments (e.

g. media, SaaS, search, marketplaces, etc. )Sharp product instincts and bias for execution in dynamic, high-growth settingsExecutive presence with ability to present to board-level stakeholders and communicate tradeoffs clearlyStrong understanding of the metadata and media landscape is a plus (EPGs, schedules, enrichment, etc. )Familiarity with modern AI/ML tooling: OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, Pinecone/Weaviate, etcAbility to engage deeply with engineers and data scientists to scope AI solutionsSolid grasp of LLM architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and evaluation metrics
