Are you passionate about aviation – especially jet fighters and flight tech?Are you ready to be part of a truly unique defense project in a brand-new, high-tech environment?At TREALITY SVS Belgium BV, you’ll help shape the future of military aviation training – and this is no ordinary job.Why this job stands outWork side-by-side with Belgian F-35 fighter pilots, in a setting built on trust and collaboration.You’ll work in a brand-new facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology, IT infrastructure and the latest F-35 simulators.Experience the thrill of seeing the F-35 in action from close by – a rare opportunity few ever get.Working in a secret defense environment at a military air force base (2nd Wing or 10th Wing)Your MissionAs a Simulator Maintenance Engineer, you’ll ensure the operational reliability of the advanced F-35 simulator systems, which are essential for delivering realistic and effective training to the pilots.You’ll collaborate closely with a skilled team of engineers, technicians, operational planning and interact daily with the pilots themselves.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & Troubleshooting Resolve simulator hardware/software issues, manage networks, use diagnostic tools.Installation & Configuration Set up hardware and software, perform updates.Preventive Maintenance & Inspections Conduct system checks, apply patches, perform backups, and proactive repairs.Documentation & Continuous Improvement Maintain logs, suggest improvements, stay up to date with technical standards.Compliance & Security Follow strict security protocols in a secured military environment.Operational involvement Be the primary point of contact for pilots and mission planners to ensure the simulators are operational when needed.Your profileBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics, IT, or a technical field.Experience with complex systems is a plus – but motivation and eagerness to learn are even more importantStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Team player with excellent communication skills in English.Need to undergo a top-secret clearance procedure (Belgian nationality is a requirement).You thrive working in a structured military environmentFrench language skills are a bonus.What we offerA young, enthusiastic, and international team.Flexible salary package (including options for company car, bike, etc.).Commuting allowance, meal vouchers, pension plan, hospitalization insurance with outpatient care coverage.
