About this Role: The Marketing Manager at the Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Council’s marketing vision to elevate Singapore’s fashion and lifestyle ecosystem.
You will lead a dynamic team to deliver impactful marketing strategies, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives that amplify the visibility of our programmes, events, and industry efforts. This role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution, create brand resonance, and drive meaningful outcomes across digital and offline platforms. You will work cross-functionally with programme leads, external agencies, and key stakeholders to deliver a consistent and compelling brand narrative aligned with SFC’s mission — to build a vibrant Asian hub for responsible fashion.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies and annual plans to enhance awareness, engagement, and adoption across Singapore Fashion Council’s (SFC) programmes and initiatives. Align plans with organizational goals and evolving market trends. Marketing Strategy Execution- Translate overarching strategic objectives into integrated marketing initiatives across digital, social, and offline channels. Ensure all marketing activities reflect brand values and effectively address stakeholder needs. Content Creation & Management- Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of high-impact content across web, social media, newsletters, and digital platforms.
Maintain consistent brand voice and relevance to position SFC as a thought leader in the fashion ecosystem. Campaign Development- Drive the end-to-end planning, execution, and performance tracking of multi-channel marketing campaigns. Leverage analytics to continuously optimize campaign outcomes, increase engagement, and maximize ROI. PR & Media Relations- Manage media relations and public communications by identifying opportunities, shaping narratives, and collaborating with PR agencies to build and sustain a strong public profile for SFC. Sponsorship & Partnership Marketing- Support sponsorship and partnership efforts by developing compelling marketing toolkits, visibility packages, and co-branded content that enhances value for sponsors and partners.
Team Leadership & Project Management- Lead and mentor the marketing team. Oversee project timelines, cross-functional coordination, and budget management to ensure timely, on-brand, and impactful execution of all marketing initiatives. Key Competencies & Attributes Strategic & Technical Competencies Proven ability in marketing strategy execution, campaign development, and content planning. Proficient in digital marketing tools, web and social analytics, CRM, and SEO best practices. Strong grasp of brand consistency, corporate identity, and public perception management. Experience in sponsorship management and building long-term brand partnerships. Skilled in budget management, media planning, and vendor coordination.
Familiarity with the fashion/lifestyle industry, particularly in areas of technology, innovation, and sustainability. Core & Behavioural Competencies Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail and multitasking ability. Creative and innovative thinker with the drive to experiment and push boundaries. Collaborative team player who can lead and also work cross-functionally. Highly effective communicator (written, verbal, visual) with copywriting, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Resilient, resourceful, and proactive in solving challenges with a positive, can-do attitude. Passionate about fashion, creativity, and building community through storytelling and design.
Qualifications & Experience Master Degree or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. At least 8 years of relevant experience in marketing, with 3+ years in a managerial role. Prior experience in the fashion, design, or lifestyle sector is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design and content platforms is a plus.
