Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are looking for a motivated and dependable Goods In/Out Operative to join our client's team at a cutting-edge vertical farming facility. Goods In/Out Operative – Vertical Farming FacilityLocation: Norwich Shift: Monday to Friday, 06: 00 – 14: 00Pay: £12. 21 per hour (increasing to £12. 27 after 2 weeks)Temp to Permanent OpportunityAbout The RoleYou'll be an essential part of the warehouse team, responsible for packing finished goods, managing stock, handling yard duties, receiving and dispatching deliveries, and preparing all necessary documentation. This is a fast-paced role ensuring produce is packed, stored, and shipped accurately and on time to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities Accurately pack and label harvested produce following customer specifications and food safety standards Monitor and maintain stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) Safely load/unload goods and maintain a clean, hazard-free yard Check incoming deliveries and report any discrepancies or damages Prepare goods for dispatch and handle delivery documentation in coordination with logistics teamsRequirements Previous warehouse, logistics, or food production experience preferred Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a chilled, fast-paced environment Basic computer skills for stock and dispatch records Forklift or pallet truck experience is a plus but not essential Strong communication skills and a team player mind-setWhy Join Us?
