As a SIOP Intern at nVent Management Company, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain planning. This internship will last for 6 months, during which you will work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.Key Responsibilities:Demand Forecasting: Assist in analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to help forecast future demand for products.Inventory Management: Support in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand without excess.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer office, Purchase, Warehouses, Plant production, Planning teams, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production plans.Support in Planning Activities: Assist in the development of short-term and long-term planning strategies to meet business goals.Data Analysis (only if senior): Collect, organize, and analyze data to generate reports that help in decision-making processes related to demand and supply planning.Reporting: Generate regular reports on important measures such as demand accuracy, inventory levels, and supply chain performance.Process Improvement: Contribute to the identification of areas for process improvement and support the implementation of effective strategies for demand planning and inventory management.Qualifications:Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
