The Eva Copper Mine (ECM) is located in North West Queensland approximately 75km north-west of Cloncurry. The greenfield Eva Copper Mine Project is a significant and strategically important project for Harmony Gold Mining Company Pty Ltd. The Project will be the largest mining operation in North West Queensland with a minimum mine life of 15 years, and will involve mining multiple open cut pits providing copper bearing ore to a concentrator. The project is permitted, and the mine site will include development of these pits, a copper concentrator, associated processing and non-processing services and infrastructure including tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, water management facilities, power generation and an accommodation village.Harmony is the largest gold producer, by volume, in South Africa owning and operating numerous mining and tailings retreatment operations. Harmony also owns and operates the Hidden Valley Mine in Papua New Guinea including holding 50% (Joint Venture with Newmont) in the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. These Papua New Guinea assets together with the Eva Copper Mine Project are supported by the Harmony Australasia corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.Reporting to the Site Services Superintendent we’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Site Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our Site General Manager and Senior Leadership Team. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on document control, records management, and logistical coordination.Responsibilities include:Provide administrative and secretarial support to site leadership.Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and draft correspondence.Oversee office setup, maintenance, supplies, and uniform distribution.Maintain rosters, emergency contact registers, and internal directories.Manage document control systems and ensure accurate records.Support procurement, invoice processing, and expenditure tracking.Assist with travel bookings and logistics for site personnel and visitors.Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain project data.A collaborative, resilient, and safety-focused mindset. What you will bring to Harmony:Experience providing site administrative support during a start-up phaseStrong document management and Microsoft Office skills.A degree in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).Previous experience in a site-based administration role. Preferably in a remote location or mining environment.Proven ability to build positive working relationship with co-workers and contractorsA collaborative, resilient, and safety-focused mindset.Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.Excellent communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Able to prioritise workload and meet team objectives.Committed to continuous development and fostering positive relationships.This role will be DIDO from local communities or FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville to our site in Cloncurry NW QLD, with local candidates highly regarded. Roster is 8 days on, 6 days off.
