Welcome to NextPharma.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Site Controller with a strong background in manufacturing operations to be the operational finance expert at our Waltrop site. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning & forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support at the site. Part of a matrix organisation, this role reports directly to the Chief Controller (Group) but has a strong dotted line to the Site Director. You will work closely with a cross-functional team —including Finance, Operations, Commercial— both at site and group. The key focus of the role is site performance, and you will partner with the site management team to drive growth, profitability and delivery of the site financial targets.Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Analysis & ReportingDeliver timely and accurate management reporting including variance analysisProvide appropriate diagnostics and insightful commercial analysis to the team together with an action plan to drive financial performanceFinancial Planning & ForecastingSite Financial planning over short-, medium- and long-term horizonsProduction controllingProduct Costing, portfolio profitability analysis and operations interfaceDevelop and maintain standard costing modelMonitor and drive performance improvements including for example OEE, Cycle Time, Changeover Time, Inventory Turns, Yield/ScrapDecision and Commercial SupportCommercial and investment analysis and other ad-hoc project workPrepare new customer quotationsControl and processEnsure efficient processes and controls are in place at site to ensure accurate data provisionRequired Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing finance, including cost accounting, inventory management, production budgeting and shop-floor data captureExperience with variance analysis, cost control and manufacturing KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, scrap, variances).Experience working with SAP in a manufacturing environment and using available tools to dashboard performanceDemonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives, with exposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma and change management principles.Key CompetenciesExcellent command of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Deep understanding of shop floor processes and how they integrate into financial performanceExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and coordination skillsStrong systems knowledgeExposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma and change management principles.BehavioursTeam player with the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.Comfortable providing respectful challenge to the team and organisationWilling to give and receive feedbackCalm under pressureOwnership mindsetIt's Time For Your Next ChapterWe look forward to receiving your application.
