Site Costing & Procurement Executive (Quantity Surveying)

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Site Costing & Procurement Executive (Quantity Surveyor) to join our team at DNA Urban Development. This role offers a good balance between quantity surveying work and hands-on site costing and procurement responsibilities.What we’re looking for:Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering or related fieldsAt least 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying in construction industryGood understanding of construction processes, materials, and site operationsGood coordination, negotiation, and analytical skillsMust be able to communicate in Chinese, as you’ll liaise with suppliers from ChinaExperience in using AutoCount Accounting is an advantageJob Responsibilities:Prepare and update project cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentsConduct site costing, tracking labor, material, and subcontractor costs on a daily/weekly basisMonitor actual vs. planned costs and provide regular cost reports to managementEvaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors, considering both cost and quality to ensure value for moneySource, compare, and negotiate with suppliers, making informed decisions on material and service selectionAssist in budget control, cost analysis, and forecasting, highlighting opportunities for savings or efficiencyCoordinate closely with site and project teams to maintain cost efficiency without compromising qualityAssist in preparing progress claims, variation orders, and final accountsEnsure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures and project requirementsSalary: RM4,500 – RM5,500 (depending on experience)Location: Perai, PenangIf you enjoy being involved in both cost management and real project operations, we’d love to meet you.📩 Send your resume to hradmin@jk-mars.com
