Site Engagement Liaison

Job Description

The Site Engagement Liaison plays a key role in fostering strong, productive relationshipswith clinical trial sites, with a focus on hospitals and/or clinics participating in GOG Partners’ trials. This individual serves as the face of the organization, visiting sites to understand their unique challenges, assess capabilities and resources, celebrate theirsuccesses, and advocate for participation and enrollment in ongoing and future clinical trials. The ultimate goal is to enhance site performance, support increased patient enrollment and retention in trials, assure quality clinical trial data and compliance, whileconsistently promoting the GOG brand.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct regular on-site and virtual visits with institutions and investigative teamsto:o Understand their operational challenges and clinical infrastructure.o Identify barriers to patient recruitment, retention, and trial compliance.o Recognize site successes and foster a sense of partnership andcollaboration.• Establish a consistent presence with sites to build trust, accountability andtransparency.• Serve as an ambassador of the GOG brand, promoting the value and impact ofparticipation in GOG Partners’ clinical trials.• Work closely with GOG Leadership, Investigator Council (IC), and clinical operationsto:o Relay site feedback to internal stakeholders.o Identify areas for support, education, and process improvement.o Ensure alignment between site capabilities and trial needs.o Match appropriate trials with capable or underutilized sites.• Develop and maintain site profiles, tracking key metrics, feedback, and follow-upactions.• Collaborate with sponsors to match high-performing or underutilized sites withupcoming trials.• Provide trial-specific updates and information to motivate sites to prioritizeenrollment.• Partner with communications and training teams to deliver site-facing materials thathighlight best practices, trial opportunities, and organizational updates.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical research, site engagement, or clinicaltrial operations.• Strong understanding of clinical trial conduct, site management, and regulatorystandards.• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and relationship-buildingskills.• Ability to travel regionally or nationally up to 60% of the time.• Knowledge of gynecologic oncology trials and GOG Foundation mission is a plus.• Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.Competencies:• Proactive and collaborative mindset with a solutions-oriented approach.• Culturally competent and sensitive to diverse healthcare environments.• Skilled at translating site insights into actionable recommendations.• Capable of inspiring engagement and commitment from clinical teams.Salary:Range $120,000-$180,000Benefits:1.
