Site Engineer -Waterproofing

To supervise and manage waterproofing works on construction sites, ensuring that all installations, materials, and workmanship meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Key Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and monitor all waterproofing activities on site according to project specifications and approved drawings.Review technical drawings, specifications, and waterproofing details prior to execution.Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations.Ensure proper surface preparation before application and monitor the correct use of waterproofing materials.Inspect and verify waterproofing works to ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain accurate records of work done and material usage.Supervise waterproofing applicators, laborers, and subcontractors on site.Conduct site tests (e.g., ponding tests, adhesion tests) to verify performance of waterproofing systems.Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.Support material approval process by coordinating with suppliers and the technical team.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in waterproofing works (roof, basement, wet areas, podiums, etc.).Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems (bituminous membrane, polyurethane, acrylic coatings, crystalline, injection, etc.).Familiarity with quality and inspection procedures (method statements, ITPs).Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.Good communication and coordination skills.Key Competencies:Strong site supervision and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
