By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics—working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.This Position reports to:Project ManagerYour Role And ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and support site-works team in cost-effective execution related deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. Each day, you will provide technical support for all site works related issues to the proposal team during bid preparation and to the Project Manager at the project start up. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Pune, India.You will be mainly accountable for:Assisting in coordination of activities between external resources and the customer, guaranteeing that the external resources are fully informed on site works planning activities, product knowledge, and safety procedures.Supporting in cost-control for the project site work, monitoring actual spend against forecasts, and estimating the final cost for the same.Performing site survey and determining required steps to execute site works activities.Participating in on-site reviews and ensuring all project cost adjustments approved by the Site Manager or Construction Site Manager are updated in business system.Qualifications For The RoleDiploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or production engineering.6+ years of relevant experience in Bodyshop/Chassis shop installation and commissioning within Automotive OEMs, Tier-1s, or line builder environments.Strong knowledge of BIW processes, welding lines (Spot, ARC, SPR/FDS), fixture handling, layout interpretation, and familiarity with pneumatics, sensors, and automation elements.Ensure supporting site manager with all projects are executed safely by adhering to TBT, JSA, PTA, and 5S practices at the workplace.Maintain day-to-day communication with customers on project progress and escalate issues promptly to internal and external stakeholders as required.Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports with customers and relevant stakeholders.More About UsABB Robotics & Discrete Automation Business area provides robotics, and machine and factory automation including products, software, solutions and services.
