Site Engineer (Architecture & Interiors)

Are you passionate about on-site delivery and have experience overseeing both architectural and interior projects?We’re looking for a Site Engineer in Chennai who can manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate technical execution, and ensure design intent is realized across architecture + interior projects in a dynamic, design-driven firm.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise site execution of architecture and interior projects: monitoring progress, ensuring quality, and maintaining adherence to drawings and specifications.Coordinate with architects/designers, structural/MEP consultants, contractors and vendors to resolve technical and coordination issues on site.Interpret design drawings & specifications, issue site instructions, manage site changes and ensure they reflect design intent.Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, site protocols, material quality and workmanship.Maintain site documentation: daily logs, progress reports, site measurement sheets, and hand-over checklists.Assist in material/shop drawing review, site measurement verification, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.Conduct regular site inspections, report deviations and recommend corrective actions in consultation with the project team.Desired Skills & ProfileBachelor’s/ Diploma in Architecture/ Interior/ Civil preferred3-6 years of experience in site engineering or site supervision roles, with exposure to both architectural and interior projects.Strong technical understanding of construction processes, detailing, MEP/structural coordination and interior works.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, interior layouts, shop drawings and construction documentation.Effective communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams and on-site contractors.Excellent organizational skills, proactive problem-solver and hands-on site presence.Familiarity with site safety protocols, vendor/subcontractor management and quality control proceduresWork ScheduleLocation: T-Nagar, ChennaiWorking days: Monday - Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)Interested candidates may contact info@archestra.co / 93590 34327 or 96677 70774 for any additional information requirements.
