Saipem is “One Company” organized into business lines: Asset Based Services, Drilling, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions.About The ProjectThe Joint Venture CCSJV scarl, led by Saipem with McDermott International and Chiyoda Corporation, was awarded in June 2019 the contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of the onshore LNG project in Mozambique for a total amount of 8 billion dollars, of which Saipem's share is approximately 6 billion dollars.Project: Mozambique LNGJob Title: Site Environmental AdvisorLocation: Afungi, MozambiqueMissionCo-ordinate the implementation of the Environmental Management Plans at site during project execution phases according to the Company Environmental guidelines and standardsEnsure the management of Environmental issues for the site / field Promote environmental initiatives at site and project levelTasksReporting directly to the Site Environmental Manager you will have the following responsibilities:Execution of environmental management action as described in the plan;Day to day implementation of this Plan, including the nomination of a bi-lingual leading hand for each work crew to ensure environmental communication and requirements are fully understood;Review construction environment management activities on regular basis;Report on any environmental management issues directly to the Site Environmental Manager on daily basis.Establish an inspection and monitoring program, including managing the monitoring subcontractors’ contracts, to ensure compliance with the environmental commitments laid down in the environmental management plans;Review environmental data including daily inspections and monitoring and producing associated reports as needed;Review subcontractor reports;Communicate the contents of control measures to the workforce;Implement the control measures and verify the effectiveness of control measures.Maintain monitoring records and all environmental documents on periodical basis;Inspect environmental conditions at site on daily basis;RequirementsMust have a Bachelor of Science in Ecology or BiologyMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar roleKnowledge to Portuguese language is advantageousWhat We Can Offer To You12 months – renewableCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.Additional InformationWe embrace diversity!
