We are employee owned, client focused and growth oriented.We live by our core values: Responsible | Honest | Inclusive | Innovative.Our vision is to bring our employees and clients one step ahead.We are looking for Site Instrumentation EngineerPnr: 6000554Job Description:Maintain technical ownership and continuity across both project phasesWork collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary client site teamPerform inspection, testing, and verification of instrumentation and control systemsSupport loop checks, calibration, and functional testingCommission and start-up instrumentation associated with:Seawater treatment unitsGas dehydration unitsInterface with control systems, automation, and electrical disciplines as requiredSupport system handover from construction to commissioningTroubleshoot instrumentation and control issues during commissioningInterface with vendors, offshore operations, and client back-office supportEnsure compliance with client standards, NORSOK requirements, project specifications, and HSE regulationsProduce and maintain pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation and reportsQualifications:Degree or technical qualification in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent2–3 years’ experience in instrumentation engineering roles within oil & gas or energy projectsHands-on experience with instrumentation systems related to:Process unitsSeawater treatment systemsGas dehydration unitsExperience in pre-commissioning and/or commissioning activitiesExposure to DCS/PLC systems and control interfaces is an advantageOffshore Norway experience is beneficial but not mandatoryStrong practical understanding of instrumentation, control loops, and field devicesAbility to maintain continuity and ownership across long-term project phasesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHigh HSE awareness and safety-focused mindsetComfortable working with remote back-office engineering supportFluent in English; Norwegian language skills are beneficial but not requiredSeaman’s Book preferred; assistance available if requiredPersonal Traits:Effective team player in rotational onshore and offshore environmentsStrong communication skills with the ability to interface across disciplinesProactive and self-motivated with a structured approach to workAdaptable to dynamic project environments and offshore conditionsApplications will be evaluated continuouslyLanguage:EnglishNorwegianIn Head Energy You Get:Permanent- or project employment with the best conditions.Access to the industry´s most exciting job opportunitiesPersonal follow-up, mentoring and career guidanceA large variety of project opportunitiesGood pension- and insurance schemes A pleasant and positive work environmentAccess to both specific and general courses.Video: Solutions that brings you one step aheadJob alert subscription – Register to receive e-mails regarding job opportunities.Head Energy’s application process is simple and straight forward.
