Site Manager Fit Out

Design Build Search is seeking a Site Manager on behalf of our client, one of Ireland's leading main contractors specialising in Fit-out and New Build construction.The chosen candidate will be working on a prestigious commercial project based in North Dublin.Our client ensures excellence in all aspects of their work. You will have the opportunity to expand on your existing skills and progress your career by being a part of large, commercial and industrial projects for high-profile clients.Responsibilities:Manage projects from first day on site through to completion.Help develop, plan and implement the programme.Responsibility for identifying manpower requirements.Responsibility for management of sub-contractors and direct employees on site.Consult and liaise with subcontractors re programme.Responsibility for ensuring all resources are available on site when requiredResponsible for controlling Variations in consultation with QSEnsure compliance with Building Regs, Fire Regs etcEnsuring that the highest levels of H&S, Quality and Environmental standards are met on site.Responsible for ensuring Finishing is carried out to a very high standard.Responsibility for Site H & S in consultation with H&S ManagerAttendance at and reporting at site meetings.Liaise with architects, engineers, and surveyors.Any other duties relating to efficient management of the project.Requirements:Third Level Degree in Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management preferable but not essential.Minimum 6 years’ experience in a Site Management role with a Main ContractorPossess strong planning, organisational and team work skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsHave a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentationProficiency with Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to build strong relationships with clients, staff and sub-contractors.Should have the ability to work well in a team based environmentRemuneration:€70,000 - €80,000 base salary (DOE)Pension planLife AssuranceHealthcareIncome Protection and Death in Service scheme.Membership of Employee Assistance ProgrammePlease note we can only consider candidates that are currently residing in Ireland who meet the above-mentioned criteria.
