SITE SURVEYOR – Ireland – English RequiredWe are seeking a Site Surveyor to carry out all site surveying requirements. This includes visits to client and/or potential client sites to determine suitability and ensure project accuracy. Surveys are conducted using 3D scanners, total stations, laser levels, combined with manual measurements and photographs, ensuring site conditions align with tender drawings and design documents.The Site Surveyor will work closely with the Lead Engineer and Design Manager, and will report to the Commercial & Technical Manager to ensure the smooth running of the site surveying process and maintain high standards. The Site Surveyor is responsible for ensuring all sites are surveyed accurately and that relevant and appropriate information is provided to all relevant departments.Key Responsibilities:Ensure accurate surveying of sites using digital and manual toolsRecord and document existing site conditions, structural elements, and interfacesCompare as-built conditions against tender drawings and design intent documentsTransfer site 3D digital survey data into the required format for the design teamComplete quality control checks on imported 3D survey data prior to sharing with the drawing teamRecord and share all critical information agreed on site with relevant departmentsEnsure all projects are executed in line with requirementsEnsure site-based tasks and contracts are completed effectively and efficientlyLiaise between the project site and relevant teams, fostering good working relationships, and communicating clearly with contractors, design team members, clients, and their representativesUndertake all activities safely, considering personal safety and the safety of others, including the publicLiaise with managers on site survey expensesEnsure compliance with ISO9001, EN1090, and all other relevant safety and quality standardsCompetencies:Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar roleProven competence in the use of total stations and similar surveying equipmentProficient in digital survey tools (e.g., Leica, Trimble, Faro)Experience in AutoCAD and 3D modeling softwareAbility to create and read technical drawingsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work as part of a team across departmentsProven ability to multi-task and move between projectsIT skills to facilitate use of internal systemsOther Requirements:Domestic and occasional international travel may be required, sometimes at short noticeMust be able to arrange own travelMinimum 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
