About The RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. This is a fully onsite role based in Wattala, and preference will be given to candidates from Wattala or nearby areas for ease of commuting.
Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day accounting operations Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports Manage accounts payable and receivable Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed RequirementsFully qualified in CA / ACCA / CIMABachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting would be an added advantageMinimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a manufacturing industryStrong knowledge of VAT & other Inland Revenue mattersAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and decision-making skillsAble to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, meeting tight deadlinesWillingness to work long and extended hours when required
