Main Responsibilities You will join the Compliance Department, reporting to the Head of Compliance, with various opportunities for development and team management.
Regulatory risk assessment Ensure firm-wide compliance with all relevant Luxembourgish and EU laws and regulations Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures Contribute to the implementation of an efficient compliance framework and its permanent evolution and progress Provide compliance support for other departmentsParticipate in the end-to-end onboarding process for new and existing customers, ensuring a seamless and compliant experienceCarrying out second-level checks on AML and other compliance issuesSupervising the controls performed by the business lines and support functions.
Evaluate the quality of the control system put in place by the business lines Team coaching and cross-functional collaboration Share your knowledge and experience with your direct colleagues, Be a team player and be supportive towards your colleagues Work closely with accounting, corporate, tax and fund administration teams to ensure data consistency and regulatory adherence across departments Drive process improvements: fine-tune compliance software, automate checks and develop KPI dashboardsSupport for Clients RC mandates Ability to manage a portfolio of diversified alternative funds (SIF, RAIF, SCSp/SCS. . .
) Act as Funds RC as delegated by clients and ensure the corresponding controls, monitoring and reporting are performed with the highest quality and timely manner Ensure compliance of the Funds with Luxembourg Anti-money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing (“AML/CTF"). Be the single point of contact of CSSF and AED for any RC duties such as AML reports, AML surveys or ad hoc requests from the regulator Coordinate with all teams involved and external service providers where applicable (AIFM, Investment Advisor, Transfer Agent, Depositary Bank. . .
); Perform the annual AML due diligence of service providers as part of the oversight control Maintain the library of template documentation required to perform the service, and where necessary support writing of bespoke policies with clients Lead the team of RC Support Officer and supervise the preparation AML reports, AML policies and any deliverables resulting from the RC mandate; Onboarding of any new mandates and be involved in the service proposal process.
ProfileExperience and background Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance within a regulated PSF, AIFM, ManCo, investment firm or fiduciary environment Strong command of Luxembourg AML law, regulatory compliance, onboarding, transaction monitoring and fund governance Prior exposure to RC or delegated RC mandates is considered a strong asset Experience managing or mentoring small teams is a plus Skills and mindset Autonomous and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities Flexible, collaborative and capable of adapting to a small but growing team Fluency in English and French required; other languages are a plus CAMS or other compliance certifications are appreciated Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage regulators and senior stakeholders Why Join This is a key role within a highly respected Luxembourg PSF that has grown significantly and continues to build on its strong reputation.
