Skilled Writer/Editor – Cybersecurity Research and Threat Intelligence

SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Writer/Editor to join our global Security Research Publication and Awareness Team.Job DescriptionThe core of the job is to edit, review and produce cybersecurity research publications for various audiences, mostly published on ESET’s blogging platform WeLiveSecurity.com. The role also entails participating in the creation of reports provided to customers of the ESET Threat Intelligence offering.Key Responsibilities:Cooperate closely with ESET’s global Threat Research team, helping researchers maximize the reach of their findings, in a joint effort to inform about current cyberthreats.Edit and review cybersecurity research publications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.Produce engaging and informative IT security awareness content tailored to various audiences, including technical and non-technical readers.Participate in the production of Threat Intelligence reports for paying customers, as an editor and by creating regular digests from sets of in-depth technical reports.Qualifications:Advanced, native-like level of English proficiency.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English are a must; professional writing and/or editing experience in English is a plus.Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate complex technical information into simple and engaging content.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.Background and experience in cybersecurity or a related field are a significant plus.Interest and knowledge in geopolitics and international relations are of advantage.Basic wage component (brutto): from 2 500 EUR* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).At ESET, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are integral to our corporate culture.
