The Legal Intern is responsible for providing legal assistance and advice in support of GeoMarket operations, under the supervision of the GeoMarket Legal Counsel. Candidate will report directly to our GeoMarket Regional Legal & Contract Counsel. Responsibilities as follows,Handle day-to-day commercial contracts, contract disputes and corporate matters (e. g. registry filings, POA, etc). Interact with GeoMarket support functions and departments, ensuring involvement of Legal in all matters that may have a legal impact on SLB . Provide legal support to Operations to ensure compliance with local regulations and SLB Code of Conduct, including operations assurance reviews.
Assists Legal Counsel to implement procedures, practices, guidelines and templates. Collaborate with Legal Counsel in litigation management. Assists Legal Counsel in managing and supervising outside counsel. Participate in department training and development initiatives and complete assigned training. Moderate involvement in business unit planning and operations as part of the management team. Supervise and coach Administrative Assistant, where applicable. Participate in strategic initiatives. Use and contribute to the Law Hub and help maintain the GeoMarket Legal intranet page. Follow prescribed internship guidelines for each week as closely as possible. Note:
