Start yours now!Location: Bucharest, RomaniaJob Summary: The Procurement & Sourcing Intern is part of a team to support strategic sourcing and supplier management of assigned portfolio of categories and suppliers.

Implements sourcing plans, execute Request For Quotations, maximize supplier performance (cost, quality, lead time), support in suppliers audits, qualifications, and onboarding processes. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Support sourcing team to Develop, communicate, and implement medium and long term sourcing strategies with the goal of assuring quality and delivery performance while minimizing total cost of ownershipParticipates in the evaluation of current and prospective SuppliersIdentifies cost elements and cost drivers, and sets cost targetsDefines the short list of Preferred Suppliers for every assigned categoryProvides support for the implementation of the different sourcing plans up to supplier, process and part qualifications, monitors plan implementation compliance with the sourcing strategyIdentifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasksInitiate and execute regional RFP / RFQ and RFI based on business requirementsSupport the procurement and sourcing team to Prepare and manage negotiations in accordance with sourcing strategyPerform all tasks of supplier management for the assigned portfolio of suppliers as per Schlumberger Procurement & Sourcing policies and standardsPerform tasks related to business systems management, suppliers onboarding to business systems, updating suppliers’ records and pricingInterns may be assigned other duties in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company Specific deliverables of the position.
