An opportunity has come up for a Graduate Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Services team in Christchurch.
We are seeking someone who’s fresh into their Environmental career and has a genuine passion and enthusiasm for our land and waterways here in Aotearoa. You will have the opportunity to work with some of New Zealand’s best consultants whilst gaining experience across a variety of services including contaminated land management, earth sciences, hydrogeology, waste minimisation and more. Our ideal candidate is a growth-minded individual who is eager to develop their skillset daily and will thrive in SLR’s inclusive and collaborative team environment. Skills & ExperienceYou will possess the following skills:
A recent graduate or soon to be graduate in science, engineering or other relevant degree. A self-motivator who is ready to learn, grow and make an impact on a variety of projects. Desire to work across in environmental / contamination management (soil and groundwater)/ remediation (soil and groundwater), closed landfill management. An excellent communicator able to accurately interpret analytical data and transfer that into reports. Known for your excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A current unrestricted driver's license holder with a strong driving history.
New Zealand Citizenship or rights to work in New Zealand. Professional experience in consulting or a similar industry is advantageous, but not necessary.
